Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a night shift assignment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in neonatal intensive care, a strong commitment to patient safety, and the adaptability needed for travel nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to critically ill newborns in a Level II, III, or IV NICU.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members.
- Educate and support families during hospitalization.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (multi-state compact license preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience (Level III or IV strongly preferred).
- BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work night shift and adapt to different facility environments.
